On August 3, we welcomed our Annual Fund donors to an open house. Besides yummy refreshments, they were able to see two quilt exhibits as well as our newest changing exhibit A Good 5-Cent Cigar: Cigar-Making in the Upper Perkiomen Valley.” In addition, new acquisitions were on view. Donors left with a historic recipe for Oyster Filling after curator Candace Perry gave short, humorous talk about “Oysters on the Half-Shell.” As these smiling faces show, a good time was had by all!
