There are lots of ways to shop:

our Heritage Shop, artisan tables, rummage sale, and basket raffle. You are sure to find something for everyone on your list.

The Heritage shop will be overflowing with holiday décor, special Pennsylvania themed items, and fun and original gifts for children and adults. The hot gift this season is How We Ate, the definitive book on Pennsylvania German food history now in 2nd edition. The Heritage Center Christmas Market is the only place to purchase this fabulous book this season.

Holiday music sets the scene as you browse tables of handmade wares by -

  • Laura Reinhart & Tim Hood of Nothing But Knit, hand-knit clothing

  • Pam Smith, handcrafted jewelry, gemstones, and minerals

And don’t miss our Holiday Rummage Sale, filled to the brim with antique, vintage, and nearly new Christmas decorations! You are guaranteed to find a treasure amidst our holiday baubles and much more.

The Market also includes the Heritage Center’s annual Basket Raffle. Each of the baskets will have a distinct theme, with many donations of gifts, food, or gift cards from local businesses. Tickets run 2 for $1 and 25 for $10. They will be on sale December 6 & 7 and must be purchased with cash or a debit card (no credit cards allowed). The winning tickets will be pulled on Monday, December 8, and the proceeds of the Basket Raffle support the Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center.

Besides shopping, there are special activities:
